THE MIDNIGHT SKY is the film adaptation of the popular novel Good Morning, Midnight written by Lily Brooks-Dalton. The story centers around a lonely, aging astronomer named Augustine (Clooney) in a race to stop Sully (Jones) and her fellow astronauts from returning to Earth after a mysterious global catastrophe.
