Movie Night: Godzilla

Something new from the team behind Forgotten Cinema. We're doing a movie night this Saturday night. We'll be checking out the 1998 movie, Godzilla, and commenting on it throughout the watch. No one asked for it. No one demanded our thoughts on this movie. But we have such huge egos, that the podcast is too small to control them.

So if your Saturday night is looking a little light in terms of activities, please join us for however long you'd like. You can see myself and Butler in 1080p WebCam glory as we wonder aloud why anyone ever thought this movie would be anything short of fantastic. Both of us are Godzilla fans and for the last month we've been trying to find a movie that we both wanted to re-watch together. And yes, we chose this one.

Some technical details. We're doing this on Discord. (All of this is trial and error) Discord afforded us the chance to both present us on screen and if people have any comments or questions throughout the viewing, they can hit us up in the chat room. This is meant to be as interactive as possible.

Discord is free to sign up. It's just another social portal. Once you sign up, looking for Forgotten Cinema or #0672 and we'll become instant Discord friends. That's all you need to do. Then this Saturday night, December 12th - We'll go live at 8pm and the movie will start at 8:30pm. So that if you'd like to time up when we start our movie, you can watch along with us.

But don't worry. The audio for this live stream/commentary track will be saved and published as its own podcast, episode, so you can listen to us at your convenience. And that's it! Expect a post or two this week about the movie, just to keep the content flowing until we get to Saturday night.
