Forgotten Cinema: Bolt

Original Blog Post: December 11, 2019 - Animated action movies are rare and when you get one, rarely good. This movie does not disappoint!
The Mikes are going to have a "ruff" time with this one as Forgotten Cinema looks at the 2008 Disney animated film, Bolt, starring John Travolta and Miley Cyrus.
Join them as they discuss why this film is for dog lovers. Field lets us know that another up-and-coming young actress had already recorded all of the dialogue for the role of Penny, before Miley was signed on to replace her. And even before the movie became Bolt, it was an entirely different film altogether. Also the Mikes do a lot of talking about dogs. Sorry cat people...they all have dog complexes anyway. So grab your popcorn and soda, please notice the exits at the front and rear of the auditorium, and settle down for Forgotten Cinema.
